PEMOGAN – Indonesia is home to the largest mangrove forest in the world, covering 3.36 million hectares, constituting 20% of the global mangrove forest area. Mangroves exhibit a carbon sequestration rate 2-4 times higher than tropical forests, storing 3-5 times more carbon.
One of the mangrove forests in Bali, Pemogan, has drawn the attention of Djarum Trees For Life as a focus for mangrove conservation efforts to protect the environment and surrounding ecosystem. Therefore, Siap Darling community, in collaboration with Djarum Trees For Life, invites Darling Squad members residing in Bali to join the #AksiDarling event for mangrove planting in Pemogan, Denpasar, Bali.
